I dont know what our Paddy is getting his knickers in a twist about, no opponent has been confirmed yet and Frankie might not be fighting for the title unless the BUI confirm that Murray has vacated it and a suitable opponent is found.

On that note the BUI need to pulled their finger out as well.

    1. Get a fúckin website! It's 2010! People demand some sort of flow of information.

    2. Publish your rule book.

    3. Produce a weight ranking list.

    4. Ensure that title holders must defend the belt at least once a year or else it is automatically vacated.

    5. Dont allow a fighter to hold the title for more than one weight division at a single time.

"Let him fight the best available" - he just beat Peter McDonagh! If Cronan wants to put forward a list of parties he feels are suitable to fight Frankie for an Irish title then I would be happy to pass them on.

I wouldnt mind seeing him fight Dean Byrne, Andy Murray or Michael Kelly, must of the other guys at the weight dont qualify yet because of the eight round rule and I doubt many would want to see him back in with McDonagh.

Murray isnt realistically going to want it so its between Byrne and Kelly. Both are suitable in my opinion.

p.s. Paddy, am I still OK to kip at yours for after the CityWest bill! ;)

think the best irish title fight was (eddie hyland vs kevin o hara) coveny was,nt on a winning run but was much busier than pajo, bad decision against bahia pushing o,hara all the way and was working with nicky cook for fight with pajo, pajo had,nt being out for 5 months

I'm not saying that Mickey didnt put up a good fight I am merely highlighting that this year Coveney got an Irish title fight despite coming off a spin of losses nor was he the "best available fighter".

Hopefully my next scrap is going to be an 8 rounder mate but as I've said before ill let my manager pick my opponents for me ;) but the plan is still the same we will be looking for some sort of title shot by the end of this year or early next year

Well neither the Celtic or Northern Ireland super bantamweight titles have ever been fought for so are vacant and Paulie holds the Irish title.

I cant see you facing Paulie just yet so it would have to be the fella Casey beat in Prizefighter, Paul McElhinney or fellow Scot Stephen Russell or maybe Welshman Paul Economides for the Celtic title. Hhhmmmm!

I agree with that aswell jebus put two fairly matched guys in together for the title each time and your on to a winner ask any irish boxer and they will tell you they want to box for the Irish title against a good lad instead of fighting poorer opposition for nothing.
What is the next move for the Hylands now that the purse bids have gone to ****?Any news on a show in Dublin for the three lads in the future??

    oh you bítch!

The latest addition to 'Gunning's Barmy Army' is Hull born lightweight Tommy Coyle. Four fights and hasnt lost a round yet. Really aggressive entertaining fighter. His ould fellas side are all Micks and he slots straight in at number 9 in the rankings. Could be a goodun! ;)
