jeez, and i thought the pavlik nut huggers were ******ed pre the martinez fight, but the pavlik haters really have outsone them here. How f*cking stupid are they?

I must admit, i dont think Pavlik is a great fighter. He's a good one, but has a lot of flaws, and I'm not a fan. But come on, fighting Martinez right now is clearly a bad move. He needs to have 1 more fight, work on some new stuff, train well, get the winning feeling back etc before he takes on a world champion. And if he can beat a guy with a bit of a name and earn a lot while doing so, more power to him.

When Manny pac lost to Morales, his next fight was Hector Velazquez
When Lewis lost to McCall, his next fight was Lionel Butler
    etc

its pretty normal after taking a bad loss to regroup with an easy fight

I think thats whats happening here. Obviously Pavlik doesnt have much of a future as there isnt big fights at 160 and at 168 well he doesnt stand much of a chance.
Jr. however has a big following and a long career ahead of him. If Jr. manages to win his star gets brighter and he becomes more of an attraction. If he loses so what he is young can rebuild and Pavlik is "back".

Im thinking Arum is hoping that Jr. wins. Its a very well calculated risk.

Pavlik needs a technitionist more than a nutritionist. I've been mentioning Manny Staward's name for the last 2 years, Kelly has some solid skills, a nice jab, good physical tools and IMO more learning potential, he's well suited for Emanuel's training style.

Are you nuts? kelly stop andrade? Man, you got some good **** there.
Also, he may beat froch, but kessler.............NEVER. Kelly does similar to what kessler does but slower and not as powerful. Kessler wins a UD all day.

andrade is a tough guy but he stands right there and blocks shots with his face. kelly is strong enough and throws enough to stop him. kessler of the last few fights is not the same kessler. i'm a huge fan of mikkel but he has been very very sloppy lately. he never used to throw those wide looping shots like he has been. kelly at his best can stop andrade and beat mikkel. will he? i dunno. but your nuts if you think kelly can't stop a guy who stands right in front of him and leads w/ his face or outpoint the version of mikkel we've seen lately.

Man it's just stupid to call him a coward. He's a fighting man. No boxer is a coward, by definition. That kind of talk just makes you look like a dick.

For the life of me, I dont understand how anybody could label a boxer a coward when they fight GROWN ASS MEN for a living...A person can dislike a person without going overboard.

What these fighters but themselves through to make it to the main stage is amazing...Its quite sad listnening to a guy that probably has never fought a round on the pro-level or even am. level calling a guy that fights for a living a coward.:verysad
