I also believe PBF would beat Martinez. Lukeo explain most of Martinez's attributes against PBF, but left out that Martinez is a very awkward fighter and he loves to lower his hands way too much. PBF would use timing and would break him down just like Zab. Martinez is not a full pledged MW. Well, not yet anyway. Oscar was bigger and strong with speed and PBF dealt with that. It would be a good fight in the early stages, but PBF takes it unless he gets caught. I see that with Pac too. Martinez is a larger version of Pac without the speed.

 

I am of course giving martinez the benefit of the doubt that he would not fight Mayweather like he did a pavlik or williams.

A fight with Pacman is bigger than anything....BUT beating the current MW champ is also big, just not as big in $$ which is what Mayweather wants. Nobody will be too upset if Mayweather was to fight Martinez if he doesn't fight Pacquiao.
