Zale as in the military fighting a world war. then when he came back after 6 tuneups, Graziano was the biggest draw. There is an excellent article written by Zale for Ring mag about LaMotta's claim he had to throw a fight to get a title shot. He really cracks into LaMotta's excuse and is well worth reading.
