oh he beat the best alright, but just when they weren't AT their best. big difference buddy. I'll give Floyd full credit for beating Manny, Manny is too good to make his height and reach disadvantages a factor. He really doesn't even use much of a jab anyways. At least Floyd will be fighting a p4p fighter that is AT his best this time.
My bad, I meant not Pac speed. To take on PBF, you can't generate that kind of speed with your hands that low. It is what Lukeo just posted, he is not going to fight PBF like he did Pavlik or Williams. I think it is late in the game for Martinez to adjust and keep his hands up. I mean, he will possilby try, but he will revert back to lowering his hands because that is how he always fights.
It's already easier to get caught with a right hand when you're a southpaw. Imagine a southpaw with bad balance and his hands down against the best timed right hands in the boxing world. I actually like Martinez.
I think martinez can beat Floyd on the scorecard....Hit and run. Floyd would have to turn into Bald'O'Bull to get him if Martinez took that route. Just something to think about.
Great. Now if and when this fight happens and Manny looks like someone we have not seen before....give May' his credit like you said. For the record.I say Pacq is too small, too stupid and cuts too easy to beat Floyd.I think these are excuses or reasons. But if people are gonna hype it up and go off of the deep end for Pacq. Then all I say is stick tough and give May' his credit if you think Pacq is better but then loses badly.
regardless they may not have been at their best but they were ranked top 5 when he fought them, what is the guy supposed to do wake up in the hot tub time machine?:hi:
i thought you said oscar was bigger then martinez! but pac and martinez fight nothing alike, they are both awkward but in different ways. the only similarity is they are fast and southpaw
