Mayweather has had over 2 weeks now to make his decision, right? When did they initially send the proposal to him?

They more than likely sent over the contracts, it probably full of **** and didn't deserve a response. FLoyd said no random blood test no fight. Which now means no cut off date. So if that contract has a cut off date, why would floyd sign? When he has made his terms quite clear. When arum sends a contract that deserves a response then floyd will sign, until then there nothing to say/
A fight of this magnitude does not need a silly stunt like this to promote it. Especially when you take into consideration the openly contentious relationship between Arum and GBP and Mayweather. You said it right earlier: it is an blatantly @sshole move and, yes, will probably affect/kill future negotiations.
