Not convinced this is anything other than a clever game by Arum.

The GF will be wetting themselves when that gets down to a couple of hours. Mayweather won't sign before that deadline just to **** Arum/ Pac around some and because he can.

    :yep

    I'd do exactly the same.....

Given that Arum has been a complete and utter arse all the way through the negotiations (in fairness he isn't the only one) I'd keep them waiting as long as possible.

It's obvious what his game is - trying to get Pacquiao in with Cotto again or Margarito..... no dealings with Schaefer and all the $$$$ are in house.

Not sure he is as cosy with HBO and Sky as GBP though..... they have the TV stations by the stones.

This fight aint going to happen. There's not going to be no eleventh hour deal and all that. Floyd wants all the shizzle (did I use it right?) all to himself. This fight is never going to happen. And to be frank I'm bored of it now.
BUT I do not want to see Pac v Cotto 2. That is about as nonsensical a fight as I can think of right now. Pac v Tony M does float my boat.
As much as I'm a fan of Floyd as a fighter, I'm bored of him.
There are plenty of other fights for us to enjoy.

I think it's amusing. People need to stop getting their knickers in a twist over everything. Arum's this, Arum's that. He's an unscrupulous business man, but he's also frivolous and not raping children. Get some perspective on all this bull****, it really isn't that important.

I'd like to see the two best go at it, but I just think there is too much ego involved in this one.

Floyd is going to flake because Pac is too big a risk.

    Think about it this way.

Pac has been stepping it up, starting at low weight and now dominating at WW. If he loses, so what? He had a hell of a run and set a world record in the process. He retires and goes off to live a life of luxury in the PI.

Floyd has been cherrypicking low risk/big name opponents all along. He only took the Mosley fight because he got so much heat over cherrypicking that he had to take something legit. If Floyd loses, he can't walk around talking about being "the greatest fighter" and "the face of boxing".

In short, Pac has nothing to lose while Floyd has everything to lose.

The shitty part for Floyd is, that while he is convinced that he is the biggest star in boxing, he isn't. Pac has more crossover appeal and is more widely known.

Floyd needs Pac. Pac doesn't need Floyd.

I believe PBF will run the clock down just for the sheer sake of a) being a **** and to **** off Arum, b) to let him know he doesnt call any shots involving PBF, c) cos he doesn't want the fight.

I believe Arum will have a fight lined up of an in-house fighter and announce it soon after the clock ends.

    Mark my words!

These excuses are now more than border line pathetic:yep This scenerio of this fight is a simple equation of "Fighter (A) who thinks he can win & "Fighter (B) who is not so sure he can win" who's chasing who? & who's avoiding who?

Now even these 1/2 brained ****s who gush over this charlatan Floyd Mayweather must know show the maturity of their alleged manhood & conceed that no other fighter in history has prevaricated to such an extent as to avoid the day when his fistic doom is decided........$100MILLION will never be enough for Mayweather to risk his padded (0).......he's shitting it & now he's NO WAY OUT:deal

:yep This is the countdown to the general forum EXPLODING. Believe me it's gonna be like Armageddon on there if Floyd doesn't sign. Joyboys are gonna run for cover as thread after thread will be started, photoshop job after photoshop job will pop up like machine gun fire. Bang! "Floyd's a *****!", Bang! "Floyd's a *****!", Bang! "Floyd's a punk ass *****", all designed to show how much of a coward Floyd is.

Meanwhile if the fight DOES get signed, I'm gonna bust a nut. I don't know what I'll do if Pac actually beats Floyd. I would have to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

This is history in the making folks. Never before has there been this much tension on the ESB general forum. I don't even know if the forum has the ability to handle the outcome. It might just shut down because of the sheer power and destruction that will happen once that clock hits zero. Being serious for a minute though, as a Pac fan even I'm tired of this BS and have stopped following the proceedings but it's gonna be amusing whatever happens to see the reaction on the general forum. The clock is ticking.
