Yeah, that's true. Floyd would have a hard time playing the villain against berto too with haiti being so recent and i'm sure 24/7 would focus on it.

They'd either have to hype it and have mayweather be calm, or ignore it and let mayweather **** talk berto.

When you think about it, Berto's people need to get a grinding! Berto is actually sitting in the catbird seat with BOTH fighters.

He could call out Pac because he is the champ. He could call out Mayweather saying he is the heir apparent of his legacy as PPV king. Even if they don't fight him he can puff out his chest and say they were "scared" and that he is the "next in line" at WW.

Talk about a PERFECT position! All he has to do is start up the hype machine.

That's a good point...Berto's in a great position to land one of them if the fight falls through. And, if that's not enough, there's always Bradley provided he looks good vs Abregu.

Andre's got some very good options on the table, so hopefully his team's aggressive enough to grab up one of the opportunities. I think he's ready for the step-up.

Yep Berto is sitting pretty. But i think he loses his zero against either Pac or Mayweather. he keeps it against Bradley though. he wouldnt have much to lose though against pac or mayweather because noyone expects him to win so its a shot to nothing. however a loss to bradley would turn him into a hype job i think.

I think Arum laid the PERFECT blueprint with Margarito during Mayweather's rise.

Margo wasn't really in a position to get the Mayweather fight with no belt and a possibility of ODLH on the horizon, but man he really elevated his career.

Berto needs to take some notes. Just call into EVERY show, make a FNF appearance in the audience, get all over the Internet. Get out there and show you DESERVE a shot if these guys don't get it on!

See that is the beauty of it. His "win" is in actually NOT getting the fights!

Neither of these guys would want to fight him. For what other than an "in between"? But if he gets his name in the discussion.... WIN!

it would be interesting to see pac vs berto because he is physically strong, it may be more competitive then most people think especially how bverto has faced 3 or 4 southpaws in a row

I have never said this before in my life.

Way to steal a comment from me and not even use it correctly.

Yeah but his work rate is suspect. Collazo gave him all he could handle, but Collazo is pretty slick. Berto clawed back into the fight. I don't think that opportunity would exist with Pac.

(Assuming the same Pac shows up WITH drug testing.)
