They are talking about him fighting either Miguel Cotto again, or Antonio Margarito if Mayweather doesn't sign, and that is not good for Pacquiao. His repuation already took a hit after him refusing to comply to drug testing, then fighting in that dud against Josh Cottey. He is lose-lose situations with either Margarito OR Cotto - especially Cotto, because that is a fight he already won, and won in brutal fashion. There is absolutely NO reason for him to fight Cotto again. None. Margarito will be a much tougher challenge than most think. Personally, I think AM is too tall and rangy for someone who gets hit as much as Pacquiao does. Pacquiao is no banger like Mosley, and AM will walk through his shots just like he did against Cotto. Will Pacquiao wilt like Cotto did? Who knows, but his only hope will be NOT to! Pacquiao is at the point of his career where every fight he fights from here on out should be to enhance his legacy. Beating Margarito might enhance it slightly, but beating Cotto will do absolutely nothing. In fact, he might catch a lot more critcism than praise for fighting Cotto again. Pacquiao better hope FMJ signs. If FMJ doesn't sign, that makes him a...well, that's a whole other story.

I've been boxing for 15 years now. I've been watching boxing for even longer. I'm rarely wrong about fight outcomes. I'm telling you, Margarito won't be as easy for Pac as people think! The fight will hinge on wether Ant can withstand Pac's onslaught. If he can, that spells bad news for Pac, because like I said, Pac gets hit to much, which is something you want to avoid against someone like Margarito.
Oh, I love Floyd Mayweather. He is just behind the guy in my profile pic when it comes to my all time faves. But if things are what Arum says they are, with the agreed drug testing, ect., if he doesn't sign, then yes, I will think something is up.
This "Pac gets hit too much" nonsense stems from his last two fights. Vs. Cotto, he turned the fight into a brawl because he was having problems with Cotto's jab and boxing style. Against Clottey, he let Josh hit him hoping it would entice Clottey to fight. Seriously, can people not see this? Is pac a defensive wizard? No. But, is his defense so poor that Margarito will hit him at will? **** no.
i agree pac is in a lose-lose situation. the only thing he is getting is a couple of millions but if it were for his legacy, he could retire now and be the best of this generation if floyd won't fight him.
That's what they said about Pac facing cotto. Look what happened. One thing you should already know since you've been watching boxing and been boxing for 15 years is that Pacquiao is unpredictable.
Exactly. Pac will let his opponent hit him but expect a strong fast out of nowhere punch coming your way sooner than his opponent can pull back his fist.
