I fear Shannon the Cannon is simply looking for his last payday, he probably is broke and desperately needs money. He will try to ambush Vitali in the first 2 rounds but if that doesn't work out he will simply take a dive on the first sign of trouble.

 

I could see that happening, but, VK is getting up there in age. This would be Briggs last chance to make some noise.

Would definitely be enjoyable. As said above, however, Briggs will be in the usual atrocious physical shape he usually is. Jacked to the tilt without the stamina to back it.

 

According to Boxrec....Briggs threw 241 punches vs Ibragimov, landing 51. That was a god-awful fight. Perhaps even worse than his previous bout vs Liakhovich. No way in hell am I watching Briggs again.

Let's see. We had someone calling the disaster in Hatti a "blessing in disguise because it brought us May/Mosely. (Hundreds of thousands killed and injured, millions homeless. Sosnowski lost to Zuri Lawrence. Took Vitali 10 rounds to get rid of him. Don't count Briggs out. He can take VK out early. Sosnowski was landing on VK. Briggs will kill him.

 

I rather think Barney is a very good fighter. Not as good as LaMot-er-Fred though.
