Have you ever known Don King "Not" get his way!!!! I think it was Tim Witherspoon that said once that during an arguement with King over a purse discrepency King screamed at him "Your Just a piece of Meat"

But Duran's whole management also betrayed him as this was also their $$$ jackpot....plenty of people owned a % of Duran & it just shows how scared of a peak & fit Duran the leonard camp were....they would'nt fight him on the same terms as before in Montreal where the superior boxer & fighter in SUBSTANCE overcame the boxer of media hype & style.

I've alwys said why not fight with all things being equal.....where's the glory in Leonards win in New Orleans!!! None!!! Leonards actions & tactics are those of a snake......it goes without saying that 90% of all the Leonard fans i've ever encountered know absolutly ****-all about boxing........there all celeb fanboys in the Michael Jackson fanclub mode...just sheep who lack any form of individuality & seek succur/security & saftey by being just an anonomous face in the crowd.....they'll cheer because the clown next to them is cheering...WANKERS the lot of them:deal

number 1........ TRUTH...Leonard was out boxed by Duran & Leonard being the bigger/stronger/faster/younger man employed every tool in his arsenal & in his own words was shocked at Durans speed of counter & it was safer to fight him inside where he had all the advantages ...or so he thought:lol: Duran nearly KO'd Leonard in the 2nd round.....Duran nullified Leonard's movement by usuing his skills......all the wrong tactics SHITE was put out by Dundee...Duran outboxed the Boxer:deal

number 2........ TRUTH...Leonard has never ever been a runner or fought the way he did in New Orleans in his life.

Duranimal, you're not an authority on the subject, you're just an outrageously biased Duran fan...albeit a subtle one with a name like Duranimal.

    He quit.
The best guy that he ever beat besides Leonard, who beat Duran twice was Ken Buchanan. He had to cheat to beat him.
He quit it is as simple as that.

I admire and respect Duran as much as i do leonard. Duran won the first fight fair and square but he did not give leonard a 'boxing lesson' as some say, as the fight was pretty close, but Duran won nevertheless. The 2nd fight wasnt all one-way traffic on leonards behalf up until and around the last few rounds. Duran,IMO, got frustrated and threw the head up. Theres no other deep rooted phsycological **** behind it. Of course it didnt help his cause not being 100% fit, but i dont think it was a case of 'im not gonna win so i'll quit'. Not at all. I think it was a spur of the moment rash decision that he probabley regretted almost immediately.
