Poll:Does Juanama hit harder than Yuri Foreman?

Put Foreman's power at 126lbs and I think he will be called the next Tyson.

 

two professional boxers one know for his power at a lower division and one at a higher division that is not known for his punching power... i think the weight difference is too much and if you put them both in the ring together foreman would not feel juanma's power and on the other hand juanma will have trouble with yuri's puncher so i think the bigger guy takes it here

People on here just see weight, and think a guy can hit hard. That is not true. Some guys are BORN natural punchers. Juan Ma is.

In the gym, usually the big puncher is the harder puncher, regardless of the weight class. The hardest I been hit with is from a WW. Ive never sparred a big HW puncher although I have sparred MW-HW's. Im sure a HW puncher will hit harder than a MW puncher, but in this case you have a huge puncher Lopez and a somewhat almost featherfisted Foreman.

 

this is stupid guys come on use some common sense.. if you were comparing a light hitter in the lightweight division against a featherweight is one thing but you're comparing a featherweight with a guy five weight classes above.. in the gym they wouldn't even put them two to spar because of the weight difference and if they did the trainer would tell yuri to go easy on the featherweight

Foreman.

Foreman doesn't hit hard at all compared to 154'ers and 160 pounders, but I guarantee he would compared to little guys.

 

Juan Ma hits harder than Foreman and malignaggi. He is a big featherweight I can easily see him moving up to 147 and do some damage.As a matter of fact; I think he would use malignaggi as a tune up fight for his 140 debut .

 

one of these days i wanna see like a scattergraph of punching power across weights done with a large variety of boxers

Man, some of ya'll have never been in the gym or you have a false sense of security. I know guys who are rail thin 140 lbs, but they hit harder than brick house lookin guys who are probably around 200 lbs.

It's because they are born punchers. The other guys just don't can't seem to punch. And it's not that they aren't strong. There was one guy who's 3 big lifts were very high, but the coach always said he had mosquito bite punches, and it was true.

 

I think about even bro. I think there are many smaller fighters that can hit as hard as any heavyweights, but the pain threshold may not be the same.

 

Ok right now i'm 165 and if i were to get in the ring with either fighter.. i will get ktfo..lol but i would last a lot longer against juanma easily

If when you say smaller you mean cruiser, light heavy and middleweight yes but lower than that you cant compare the punching power
