he certainly can, but its easier for us to say this than it probably is for him to just do it...not saying he's right for being stubborn and self centered, but he has worked his way to the top being a certain way why would u expect him to just give in now?...if we expect this from floyd, then why didnt everyone expect manny to just give in on the blood testing the first time around?...not saying mayweather is 100% right, but the double standards are crazy on here.

It's his legacy. If he wants to talk **** about pacquiao and then duck him, he is gonna hear about it from the boxing community. No way he can call him a 1 dimensional walk in the park and then duck the guy when the time comes to put up or shut up.

why are u under the impression that floyd is ducking? because hes not yielding to the Arum deadline? or because he's not speaking in the media and is simply honoring the agreement to not make fight discussions public? knowing floyd and arum's relationship do you really think that floyd would give in to arums deadline, regardless of who the opponent is...the same people who justified pac not wanting to be dictated to are now crying foul because the shoe is on the other foot now.

Contradicting himself continuously through time. He's always said whatever suited the moment ever since he started out at welterweight and justifying his discrepancies on him not being good in interviews, is truly a lame excuse.

Simply put, no other boxer in this past decade has contradicted himself as much. He has so often, using common sense, been "undefendable" with his words & actions but has had one of the biggest pack of fans, loyally defending him through it all.

With that said, I have nothing but praise for him before he reached welterweight.

I think Arum has tried to be too smart for his own good in putting up the deadline...he's probably thinking that there is a chance Floyd may agree at the last second, if not...he will throw Pacquiao in with Cotto/Margarito. The more I think about it, Mayweather will most likely just turn around after the deadline has gone and say he doesn't work for Arum no more, etc.

Backing FMJ into a corner is NOT the way to get him to sign. Bob will find out shortly that this strategy he is using will turn out to be a blunder.

Yeah.. i don't what people are talking about. If this is all some master plan by Arum then put a spanner in his works by signing for the fight... oh and you get 50% of the biggest purse in boxing history to go with it...

WTF?! Instead of defending what he just said or done you want to ban the member.

Oh learning from the picture of the avatar. You also like RUNNING AWAY instead of dealing with the issue!

Wether I'm banned or not this video clearly shows PBF always :blabla:blabla:blablaBUT WHEN THE ACTUAL FIGHT IS NOW BEING OFFERED OR ASKED.

    He seems to :eek:tta :rofl:rofl

ANYWAY, I'm hoping he still signs.
