    correct me then, if i am wrong i admit it.

    did ali lose legacy because he didnt fight evander holyfield in 1990?

    has oscar lost all of his legacy of ten championships in 6 weight divisions because he has not fought cotto at light middle?

    you cant lose what you dont have!!

    if you have $0 you cant lose anything because you dont have it. but if you find a dollar you gain a doillar

    same as if you have $100 find 20 you will hae enhanced your pocket.

    same with legacy the things or fighters around enhance it.



    therefore if you dont have pacman it will stay same unless it is added.

    Ali wins the world title in 64, and 26 years later his legacy is tarnished because he refuses to fight holyfield at 48 years old....

    I remember that issue of sports illustrated.

    Ali ducked holyfield!!!!! what a loser!

    (Spud being born in 1995 makes this even funnier to me)

    I understand it will hurt his legacy in a way. But I'm talking legacy in where he ranks all time. I don't think he can down the list for not fighting. But I agree, people will always bring up the fact he decided not to fight Pac when talking Mayweather.

    but you guys are sying you lose legacy if you dont fight certain fighters.

    you cant lose what you dont have.

    accomplishments count alot more than ducking fighters, leanord could be said ducked Pryor, does it hurt his legacy -much not really. Fighters get a pass.... most of the time.

    mayweather will be hurt more because he talks so much about how great he is, when you do that you are expected to fight the best no excuses!

    Was leonard ever quoted saying "First and foremost, not only do I want to fight pryor, I will whip his punk ass"??????

    I don't remember Leonard calling pryor 1 dimensional and an easy fight either.
