I have friends over to watch the PBF/Mosley fight and in about the 6th round the "boxing sucks" ... "in UFC you could tackle him so he couldn't run" dribble starts pouring out. He sucks in casual fans and makes them think boxing is boring and dominated by a trash talking ***** who doesn't look for knockouts. That's whats wrong with him.

Forget your friends, he still has enough people hooked to keep buying his fights even after seeing his "boring" style. People always watching him box brings life into boxing.

So, in a fight where Mayweather barely takes a backwards step, your friends are discussing 'running'?

    Interesting.

WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF, IBC, IBU, IBA, WBF ... are the worst for boxing. There would be almost no ducking if there was one belt for each division.

Keep in mind, as the boxing fan in the group, guys who rarely watch fights come over to my house for the big ones. Kind of like the people who show up and only watch the Super Bowl. Yes, Floyd bores them. If that is about the only time casual fans watch boxing and they find it boring, that is bad.

I do see the other side. He brings the dollars that help keep the sport going.

Yes.. This is the worst... Because really now noone cares about belts even the Ring belt means nothing at this point...

But if you had 1 champ per division, you'd have only one number one contender, and one Man who could be called a champion... All of these guys would be streetfighting to get a crack at the Champ.. And if that meant running through the real top5 of the division it would happen.

This . Floyd is just a con artist. So what if he can draw a lot of PPV buys? That means he's a good promoter, nothing else. The guy alienates fans by hyping up shitty, boring fights like Baldomir, Marquez, Hoya, and Mosley fights. People are starting to see through him.

I give him credit for Mosley fight, actually. He did what he needed to do. But these two failed rounds of negotiations with pacquiao are certainly no helping.

What people, you mean you and the 5 other floyd nuthuggers? Most people buy his fights to see him lose. He's a good promoter, but people are seeing through his bull****. Eventually his PPV #'s will start to die because he's not facing tough competition, especially if he avoids Manny.

The worst thing ever to happen to boxing was paper titles.
