Yet another **** fight for Klitschko. I mean he could at least fight someone like Odlanier Solis? Ah well. At least Briggs will actually put up a decent fight. Before getting stopped.

pointless fight that proves nothing - good for briggs to get a final chance but really Vitali should not be taking fights like this.

Shitty fight, Vitali should just retire and let his brother fight for the WBC belt if he's going to fight guys like Sosnowski and Briggs. These are not proper title defences.

I am surprised Briggs gets completely undeserved titleshot one more time.

Still, with good power and fast hands, at least he has the potential to make the fight competitive for a couple of rounds.

Impossilbe for Wlad to fight for WBC belt as long as he holds WBO/IBF unless (!) Vitali lost it in a voluntary defense and little brother can challenge using rematch clause.

Rafael said it's still between Valuev and Briggs at this point. Why not wait on Adamek?

Wlad could also unify against whoever wins the vacant belt (if Vitali were to retire as champion).

Doesn't Haye have another garden opening to attend?

From what I heard Solis refused the fight.

Shannon Briggs is still a huge threat to any heavyweight for the first couple of rounds. He has power, speed and accuracy, just no stamina. His lack of stamina didn't hurt him too badly against Sergei Liakhovich did it? Shannon knocked Sergei out in the final seconds of the final round. In other words, Briggs is still a dangerous fight.

I'm sure Vitali would've rather fought Haye or Valuev but he can't force them to sign can he?
