Yeah the OP's reason is the only reason I see supporting the fact that the fight may be signed. I don't see Arum making people and press stay up so late to announce anything but a signed fight. If he doesn't and he does publicize another fight then people will be major pissed at him.

Don't be silly.. there's definitely a contract. The details in the contract is the mystery. I've heard sources saying there's testing up to the fight, and other sources saying it's still 14 days. I've heard 55/45, and I've heard 50/50.
