Like I said to another poster, I wasn't trying to bring race into it. But gotdamn, calling the man a COWARD? They was calling this man a damn COWARD on ESPN. Look at Floyd's resume? That **** don't seem too cowardly to me.

He just beat Sugar Shane for f**k's sake! Do you think any other fighter would have pitched a shutout against Sugar Shane the way that Floyd did? Especially at welterweight? I doubt it. And they are already clamoring for him to get back in the ring AGAIN.

I'm tired of the man being continuously discredited. He gets ate up by the media, and online sites. People just want to see his ass lose. PERIOD. Once he loses--if he does--people will just look down on him.

Floyd's the best in the business. That draws heat.

  4. If he fights and beats Pacquiao, people will say that Pacquiao was tailor made for him. You're right. No matter what he does, no matter who he beats, it will never be enough. People will hate him for whatever he does. As soon as his name comes up, ***s on this board express hatred. Pacquiao has fought his last opponents at a catch weight, but apparently that's okay... How is that okay? Mayweather fought a very good boxer/puncher in De la Hoya at a more natural weight for Oscar and he outboxed him. He brawled with Mosley and still came out on top. His resume is starting to look very impressive which is more than I can say for Pacquiao. Stop licking Pac's vagina dickheads.

The irony here is, he makes a few good points about Floyd but ruins it all by attacking another fighter, undefeated world champion.

Had you not said your absolute stupid **** about Calzaghe, I'd have agreed with your post. Calzaghe and Floyd get about the same amount of admiration here (marginal) with the same amount of hate (excessive)

    People can't relate to perfection.

Was with you until the black ****!

We all want Mayweather Vs Pac, for my money.... its Money! But thats why we want to see it! Is Pac the man to beat him? Maybe?

Doesn't matter if you are black white yellow green or purple, if its a good match up I want to see it, lets leave race out of it.

I apologize for bringing race into the ****, but damn, I am just amazed at how much hate Floyd CONSISTENTLY gets. Gotdamn. People said that they'd be satisfied if Floyd fought Mosely; and yet, people STILL aren't. People won't be satisfied until Floyd gets his ass beat, and loses all self-confidence; just like RJJR. Now look at Roy? People feel sorry for his ass now. Now they wish they could see the RJJR of old. But guess what? He ain't coming back...EVER. We lost him due to him trying to please these damn insatiable fans.

We lost him when he screwed up his body coming down to light-heavy to fight Tarver. And weight was definitely the reason. The same thing happened to Chris Byrd; who went from taking punches from a hard-hitting Vitali Klitschko to getting starched by a damn mere 175 pounder after dropping down in weight.

Once Floyd finally gets his ass beat, then, they'll finally say: "Floyd, your the greatest, and all of that other bull****."

Bottom line: people hate the man because he is too damn good.

I agree with one aspect of what you wrote, and that is that for the vast majority of people out there, no matter what Floyd does will never be enough. However, this has less to do with his race, and everything to do with his arrogant attitude. This isn't about a "cocky black man" this is about an arrogant disrespectful punk. Period point blank.

It has to do with his belittling other people, talking **** about how he's going to beat the other guys' ass, and then run and box to a decision.

Ali talked a mountain of ****, but guess what? That dude backed everything he said up in the ring. If he said he was gonna knock someone out, he knocked them out or did everything in his power to do so.

Floyd went on and on about how he was gonna "beat that ass" against DLH and he was going to put him down and whatnot, and what happened? Boring decision.

But this is of Floyd's making. He WANTS to be the guy that everyone hates. He WANTS everyone to root against him, because he'll not only get those paying to see him win but those paying to see him lose.

Fine decision and it's a decision that has paid off. However if you want to be the bad guy, the guy everyone hates, you can't then turn around and complain that nobody loves you, nobody respects you, and the media is conspiring against you due to your race.

His race may matter to a small select group of ignorant people, but most people just get tried of him running his mouth, flashing his money to a camera where many of his FANS are sitting at home wondering if they can pay the mortgage because they just lost their jobs. People having to make a decision between paying for food on the table or paying for medical bills or treatment.

THAT is why people don't like him and why it will never be enough to satisfy fans. Because he embraced the a-hole role, and he plays it well.

But playing that role and accepting the consequences of playing said role, are two separate things to Floyd and many of his fans, unfortunately.

I will agree with you on Floyd's braggadocious attitude, that **** gets on my nerves too, sometimes.

One thing that I DO know, Floyd better not EVER lose, because if he does, he is going to reap a damn WHIRLWIND of backlash from people. But, the only thing that I have issues with is people calling his ass a coward, and discrediting his achievements.

If one thing is for certain, that man is NO coward. And his achievements are awesome.
