Is it just me or are the commentators on Showtime actually pretty damn good?? Im usually disgusted by some of the comments I hear on HBO or Sky Sports commentating but these dudes seem to be pretty clued up.
you know what, i like tarver in there. i like him more as a commentator than an actual boxer. I still like hbo commentary with rjj though
He's being honest about robinson too, it's good to see tarver being honest about a less popular prospect.
Tarver's usually pretty cerebral and give some boxer's insights, but sometimes can be off the mark, like his infamous Ward comparison to RJJ. I think he didnt mean it as a literal comparison, but just on a comparison of dominating your opponents in your weight class. Personally, my fav boxer turned analyst is Lennox Lewis. He's one very intelligent but down to earth and humble mofo...
I'll have to disagree with you there mate, big fan of Lennox in the ring but i find he bumbles through some of his commentating much in the same way as Foreman did. BTW: Nonami is sexy as fook !
