Although I am one of the multitude of boxing fans who were disappointed by the recent developments concerning the Pac-Money fight, I have to say that I admire Floyd for being true to his own words that he is his own boss. You can be sure that HBO has exerted every effort to strong-arm Floyd behind the scenes to agree to the proposed fight. Al Haymon must have also done his best to convince Floyd to accept the proposed terms since his own standing with HBO rests on his supposed influence as Floyd's adviser. His entire clan and nest of hangers-on must have also been egging him to accept the fight, if only for the promise of the monetary windfall somehow trickling down to them. Despite all these pressures, as well as the words of encouragement from his loyal fans who remain supremely confident in his ability to easily dispose of the one-dimensional Pacquiao, Floyd still had the will and the fortitude to follow his own survival instinct and shy away from danger. I applaud you, Floyd! :happy
As far as I'm concerned, **** Floyd and **** Pacquiao. Two pieces of **** can't put egos aside and give the fans the fight they want? Pathetic. :smoke
if he's scared, he's scared. :conf People should stop forcing him to do what he doesn't want to do. :good
**** Floyd. He should have stayed retired. If you say you came back to fight the best, then fight the mother****ing best.
I will NOT be tuning in to see Margarito or a Cotto fight. the Roger excuse is a rather legit one too. Manny needs to promote himself and get rid of Top Rank. He should have chose GBP.
Arum never wanted this fight. This BS deadline was just another attempt at influencing negotiations. It didn't work so Arum is leaving the door open. Why has Margarito been keeping his schedule clear? Because Arum knew all along that he was going to make this a Bob Arum Rot Stank Cash Buffet.
