Does Gonzalez vs Carbajal qualify? Or is that a slugger vs a technically gifted puncher?

    Marciano - Louis/Walcott/Charles
Frazier - Foreman (ok technically not the best)
    Hatton - Tyszu

The no class gap part is really annoying me, does it prevent me from including Marciano vs past prime Joe Louis?

You can't say Frazier-Foreman PP! That's the obvious choice if the thread didn't have the word technically in the title, nice calls on the others though.

 Teeto you're a one man wrecking crew in this thread. I'd exclude Marciano-Louis personally, yeah.

I think PP pointed out the definitive choice in going for Walcott-Marciano. Hatton-Kostya is another good one. Both those guys were getting on a bit though. I don't think of Charles as a puncher above LHW, personally, though he could bang.

Manny Pacquiao vs Marco Antonio Barrera? Probably not, Manny wasn't a swarmer in the traditional sense...just in the sense of how he was relentlessly coming forward with his chin up in the air...and he still wasn't punished.

Yeah, he was more of a raw slugger then, but he was definitely swarming in that fight as it progressed, i think it's a fair shout.

The technically gifted puncher beat the swarmer when they were both assuming their typical roles though...Gonzalez only won when he changed up for the rematches.

    :happy

Now i'm ready to be shot down on this one, it's been ages since i saw it, and i only watched it once or twice. Sung Kil Moon vs Khaokor Galaxy?

Both aren't ideal for the job descrpition here, but Moon loved to come forward first, not defending much, relying on chin, and Galaxy had some skills and wasn't exactly feather-fisted.

Maybe i'm pushing my luck with that one, but FleaMan could give insight

Yeah, i'd have to watch again, to his credit though, Gonzalez very nearly won when both were assuming typical roles.
