WHat i am pissed off about more particularly is how bad arum dogged floyd and come to find out, THis mother****er aint even talk to floyd or his team. And all these dumb ass pans badmouthing floyd saying "oh the negotiations are made, floyd just has to sign" The mother****er didnt even contact floyd. ANd now yall who act like you knew so much about the negotiations look stupid.

I know that Arum is a lying *******, but not in this case.

Was there a face-to-face negotiation between Arum and Haymon? No. Was there even a negotiation? YES.

The fact that HBO's Ross Greenburg was the moderator and Al Haymon was talking for Floyd was even more impressive than the Top Rank-GBP talks conducted last year, IMO. After all, we were all calling for HBO to throw its weight around to make this fight. This time, HBO took the initiative and acted as the go-between.

If Arum lied about anything in his statement to the press today, then surely Greenburg or Haymon will call him out on it. And when we hear nothing from HBO or Haymon in the coming days, it will vindicate Arum.

I understand the hate for Arum in general, but I don't see how this made any difference. The dude just says what he has to say to cover all grounds.

I came away with the following very obvious conclusions:

1. Arum wants more money! The reason he's not pissed off at Mayweather and blasting him is because he doesn't care that he didn't sign. Now he can move signing his in house fighters, so he can still make close to the same amount.

2. Arum never actually lied (no about the negotiations anyways). He's such a good lawyer that he says enough so that people will fill in the blanks the way he wants them to. No body even realized he never talked to GBP, everyone just assumed!

3. Pac is a big money fighter and Cotto/Marg will generate far more money than one with Bradley or PWill. It would be different if Bradley/PWill were under Arum since he can rake in the cash from both fighters... but they are not, so the issue is still money.

1. F Arum's money. Those sorry fights are killing boxing. Nobody wants to see Pac/Cotto and if Pac is bad enough to face a 154 pounder there are better options than recently busted cheating KTFO can't get a license Margarito.

2. Arum always lies. He lied and killed the first fight. He lied about this fight too. It is now obvious that the "deadline" wasn't a deadline. It was just an attempt to get FMJ to sign early.

3. F Pac. He is a protected damaged fighter dominator. You are sitting here justifying fights where the outcome is all but written in stone just because the PROMOTOR will make more money? Not even the fighter? You are a moron.
