Business-wise. How can Floyd recover on this PR disaster?

Seems Al Haymon and Richard Schaefer (GBP), the two people who trusted him (and his company FMP, with president Ellerbe) to be in business with when he came out of retirement, are disappointed.

I reckon both of them are quite fed up with him now, especially Schaefer and ODLH, where as we all know - loaned him what he needed to get IRS off his back.

Seems like he's in a no man's land hiding from these businessmen, after the cold feet of giving the verbal go ahead for the fight against the current P4P#1.

I really can't blame him. He already fought all active but still marketable 40-year olds out there (jmm/mosley), and can make the weight he's in. Noone else out there falls into that type of category.

Lots of people don't see why Pac can't take random testing.

Thing is, it's fine to project like a villain to the viewers and casual boxing fans - like what he does before, but still gains respect of the real fight fans and "boxing business key players".

Seems this time around, he really really mess up big time. He'll have a hard time gaining back the trust of these industry key players.

Like the rest of the world that knows the latest at the moment, wherein: Al Haymon (who floyd trusts and floyd's voice in negotiation) confirmed that floyd is fine with the new testing protocols in the contract. But FMJ isn't ready to fight yet due to a 'valid reason', which is suspected to be due to his uncle's situation. In other words, the A-side meth is a myth - and just a good excuse.

any press is good press right?

his name is out there, while all of us are arguing facts, his name is about. when they do sign shortly the fight will e even bigger, arum and floyd are in this together they are both marketing geniuses.

what was that conference all about? why did arum say that he still has ten days to sign the contract. this was because he knew that floyd would sign on his own terms.

simple as that, you are under estimating arum and floyds business acumen here, this is the best thig they could have done to market it

make everyone think that floyd is chicken, when he signs everyone wilo buy because they want to see floyd wooped!!
