I have criticised Floyd a tonne of times for not taking tough fights.

But.

If Roger isn't available and Floyd wants to wait for his trainer to be ready, I think that is a perfectly legit reason to say no. At the very least as valid as some of Pac's more vapid statements about not liking blood tests.

But.

He should have come out and said so. He should have at least made a statement - I don't want the fight, and why.

In my view this puts pay to either side claiming the moral ground cause at the end of the day we all loose.

Floyds fans deserve a reason. Until he speaks, it looks like a duck, but you gotta quack like one before it is.
