exactly, and the WORST thing is that fighters waste their prime so much in boxing with inactivity and **** opponents so they can build their resume. How can you become a top fighter without taking on challenges? Especially when you're already holding a strap? ridiculous

something needs to be done, honestly

If that's the case, why wouldn't one member of Team Mayweather just say it's all bull****?

These quotes are from Tim Smith of the New York Daily News from an article he wrote yesterday:

"Arum and Michael Koncz, Pacquiao's adviser, have been chirping throughout the "private" negotiations about Pacquiao agreeing to the stipulation of random drug tests and a 50-50 split."

"Every time Schaefer has been asked about the negotiations, he has said "no comment" and has even refused to acknowledge when or if the talks have started. But we know they have started because two weeks ago Arum and Koncz announced they were giving Mayweather a deadline of this weekend to accept Pacquiao's deal or they would move on. Thus the 3 a.m. EDT telephone press conference."

I'm assuming Mr. Smith might know a little bit more about this situation than we do.

  8. You mean he agreed to 1 "demand"? Which was a penalty for breaking the contract?:lol:

Did Floyd agree to Pacquiao's demand to not have blood drawn within 30 days of the fight?

first 7 weight champion, 4 lineal titles, beat all of the mexican trio.... nobody expected some kid from the ****iing phillippines to ever accomplish anything like this and he did

if pac loses to a SFW in floyd fighting at ****ing 147lbs when he started his career out round 100, it won't ruin his legacy. stop being a ****.

None of that matters. Mayweather, Haymon, and Golden Boy have all kept quite and they were asked to during both negotiation periods and they've done that.

Arum's information is backed up by what or who? The idea that both sides agreed was from Arum alone. No one else is talking.

i didn't say arum didn't talk to greenburg

i didn't say greenburg passed on something to GBP

we can speculate til the cows come home, but the whole way arum built this up is plain and simple b/s

there is absolutely no reason why arum could not have contacted shaefer directly...that is just ******ed

    the time clock was lame

the "deadline" was sold as a line in the sand, and that was b/s

we have no clue what's in the "agreement" and arum dodged the question

we know pac will fight in house again because bradley and ptp (paraphrase) "don't deserve TRs promotional power when their respective promoters don't do anything"

putting all this crap in the media serves no purpose then to either discredit floyd, promote pac, or both

shame on floyd for not saying anything, although, what could he say...anything he would have said would have been twisted/spun anyway

shame of pac for not standing up to his shady-ass promoter

    but most of all

shame on arum for torpedoing this thing from the start

he is one of the best fighters ever. don't have to enjoy it.

personally, i think that floyd is schooling manny and when he does, he'll still be rated under pac for his resume in the last 5 years
