    Realize this.

Arum just buttered both sides of his bread.

If Mayweather says yes and the fight is on, then good for Arum... truck load of money.

If Mayweather says no, he has a built in excuse that even Arum is on board with, so the carrot is still dangling for '11.

And if Mayweather says no and cites Roger as the reason, you will have more interest in Pacquaio's next scuffle because it's the one he takes before he fights Floyd and a sort of appetizer before the main meal (which is what clottey was SUPPOSED to be).

If Mayweather really has no intention of ever fighting Pac, that hurts the attention on Pacquiao and just turns him into a Top Rank wrecking machine without the ultimate satisfaction of him beating Mayweather.

Arum is trying to make this win/win for Bob Arum.

Mayweather isn't guilty of **** until he speaks.

I really don't see your point. Of course he's going to make things work out for him but that doesn't mean he's guilt of anything. I don't care how much he or anyone else makes, I just want to see Pacquiao and Mayweather fight and the fact is, Arum wanted it, Haymen, Pacquiao wanted it, Mayweather didn't.

One man is at fault. The rest are just going to move on and you can't fault them for that.

You are getting your information from one source who happens to be the biggest liar on the planet.

We need to wait for something from Mayweather to hear his side and draw our own conclusions.

I expect another "beat his punk ass" type of statement from him today.

He created a bunch of drama for the fight, then he used that drama to justify margo and cotto...

    It was win/win for him.

He was either gonna anounce pac/may or hype margo or cotto.

He knew damn well that when that clock went up, he wasn't going to do ****, and it backfired and people started calling floyd a coward and a ducker, which takes appeal away from the fight.

You can only cry wolf so many times, so arum himself had to come to the defense of floyd in order to keep this obscenely rich fight alive.

if Mayweather says anything about 14 days or 50/50 he is a ****ing coward and should be shunned from boxing.

That **** will simply not fly.

If he says he is waiting for the roger hearing, then fine, whatever.....

Floyd has a phone, Im sure with his millions he can afford a LG GB102, it sells for about £3.95 in Carphone Warehouse, I imagine it couldnt be much more expensive in the US.

Until he gives a valid reason as to why the biggest mouth in boxing is suddenly silent about all this.

    Void is void.

I agree Arum is a liar but Rafael backed him up and he has people inside HBO who would know. Apart from that, if it wasn't true, why wouldn't one person from Team Mayweatger say something? All it takes is one call from Ellerbe, Haymen or Mayweather himself to clear him, yet they haven't. Instead, they've sat back and let the world accuse their fighter of cowardice. You think they'd allow that, if it was all lies?

I expect that too but you can't change the past and in many eyes, Mayweather has ducked Pacquiao.

Arum - "I never spoke with anyone at Golden Boy or in Mayweather's camp"

Sounds like the fight was real close and the deadline was warranted. :-(

    Arum = my feces.

Arum has done a fantastic job staying in front of this story; even Time Magazine just published an article saying that Mayweather is too scared to fight Pac.

The silence needs to end and I expect it will very soon. I doubt Mayweather and Ellerbe will sit and let this go on much longer.

Is it really a problem though? If he had stopped the fight from happening, fair enough, hate him all you want. All he's done though, is hedge his bets. Either he announces one fight or he starts to hype another. As a promoter, that's what you should expect and it's not a bad thing either. He's just doing his job.

Pretty cheap but nothing to get angry about.
