    By the way, it's nice to see LukeO not just spewing stuff or anti-Floyd stuff just off his emotions like he usually does. That rallies people... that one guy with the Derek Jeter avatar was the most level-headed about waiting and searching for the truth before we pick our stones to throw.

    Arum has been promoting his fighters at the expense of Mayweather for years now.

    It doesn't hurt that he seems to have ESPN in his back pocket and they will call Mayweather all types of cowards and scared while at the same time never challenging Arum on the contents of his contracts.

    This ish is surreal.:nut

    The thing is, all these theatrics, which I also believe go on, are all in place to make the fight bigger. Take the countdown clock. How great would it have been if with one minute to go, Mayweather called ESPN and said "I accept" live on air? It would have been awesome TV and really built the fight. Or what if the clocked went to 0:00:00 and the Arum press conference started and he said "I just recieved a call from Ross Greenburg, Mayweather has accepted". Again, great entertainment and it builds the fight.

    What doesn't build the fight, is one of the fighters being called a coward by every expert and non-fan in America. Floyd's stock has taken a nose dive. It's only getting worse now.

    This isn't hype. Theatrics have happened but this isn't one. It's only turning fans away. Even if it was planned, you think after 10 minutes of hearing "coward", "ducker" etc., banded around for fun, they would have kept up with it? No chance.

    Waiting for an official announcement, but the original post makes a lot of good points. Keep in mind we have some very smart minds at work here. Arum definitely did the best sort of thing he could for himself, while Floyd is maintaining silence as usual before making an official announcement. So much ****ing posturing right now. Just gotta wait and see.
