    - Mayweather has now ducked Pacquiao twice. And, this time, it was even worse than the first time PBF ducked Pacquiao: Floyd's not even trying to pretend it was for a joke "drug test" excuse; Floyd simply has gone into hiding as his fragile reputation is torn to shreds on outlets like the influential ESPN

    - Haye has ducked each Klitschko brother once and is now apparently running full-steam away from the brothers again as they try to get him to fight them

If you wonder why boxing is losing ground to MMA and other sports, look no further than Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and David Haye. Their professional cowardice is wrecking the brand of boxing, and they and their supporters have no one to blame but themselves.

It is sad. The funniest thing is that Mayweather returned from his "retirement" in order to try to get his acclaim back by beating a smaller man he felt would be an easy path to glory.

Now, PBF can't even talk about Pacquiao, let alone make a contract with him.

    Pathetic.

Haye? A joke. Made his HW name by calling out the Klitschkos and now he's turtled in such a public way that you can't see his reputation ever recovering.

Not sure of ducking either, it might be things we the public dont understand. Its ridiculous to say boxing is losing to UFC. No way, never!

nope, mayweather made false accusations and then demands which pac said no to.

if mayweather had said that pac needs to chop off get his pilot's license before he'd fight and pac didn't, would that be backing out?

pac said he'd do everything any fighter has been asked to and mayweather upped the ante past that.

This is a never ending debate. We all know the story and have different interpretations of how it all went down.

After Arum's embarrassing phone conference last night, how can you claim Floyd is ducking? Get past your hate and see it for what it is...Top Rank playing games.

Exactly, the first one is open to interpretation. This one isnt.

Arum is a snake whos happy the fight isnt going down because he can milk Pac for more.

Void is a scared to death of loosing to Pac and is happy Arum isnt too keen on this fight cos neither is he. He's happy for the fight to not happen and for Arum to protect him from the backclash, not working though.

Absolutely no hate, never hated Floyd, ever, in fact one of my fav fighters but after all his BS and not signing the fight, and keeping quite about it all, Im fed up of the guy. He's made a hater out of me.

If he wants the fight, it really isnt that hard to make the fight. He's the one who keeps putting roadblocks and in this case, so scared he simply ignores all calls

I haven't been paying much attention to these forums recently mainly due to threads like there, but has floyd officially pulled out of negotiations?

Haye is a legit duck, we don't know why floyd hasn't signed yet though, considering arum admitted to not even really negotiating yet.

It's the way the sport is set up. One loss can be devastating in boxing while in MMA, one loss means nothing. With promoters looking out for their "product", they look for the safe bet.

But this is different. This is THE big money fight and one man has agreed to everything and the other has gone into hiding. Sad.

For what it is worth regarding Pac. and Money for weeks and weeks we have been hearing from Arum about this fight **** all from Moneys team. Yesterday was a **** take with the clock on Arums site the countdown for Money to sign. Yet we have yet to hear from Moneys team as if everything was sorted out or not. No doubt about it we will find out some time soon.
As for Haye no matter what anyone says about Haye. Haye is a huge ticket seller so I think the Brothers are trying to get Haye for peanuts. Haye also does decent PPV numbers he is on every station plugging his fights so this all adds up to PPV buys. If the split is not 50/50 then its not worth doing Haye shouldnt be taking less than any of the brothers. The brothers need Haye more than ever to get the big money which would sell in the US so if they dont do a deal someone else will do it.
