Good theories. I really would hope either of them would grow some balls and face Berto, Williams, or Martinez. I think if Manny or Floyd eventually would lose to any of those 3, there is already a rivalry between them and would still sell. Pac and Floyd completely ignoring those 3 mainly because they are not as big draws as themselves makes me question their greatness compared to greats of the past. ****, Don King used to go up with a suitcase full of money to Duran at a bar and Duran would accept. Seems like these guys are more greedy than they are ambitious. Floyd with his excuses like always and Manny potentially fighting heavily worn fighters that the fans already know what the outcome will be is not helping in creating interest in the sport. Pacquiao-Margarito? Pacquiao would humiliate him much worst than Shane did. Unless that fight had a hell of an undercard it would be a waste of time. These 2 keep coming up with this bull**** I'm quickly becoming a bigger fan of Martinez and Williams. Those 2 are the real warriors and I hope one day they get the fame and fortune Pac and Floyd have today. Too much bull**** from Floyd and Manny.
This is the only relevant reason why this bout should not be happening...anything else is a massive disappointment. Anyone without their trainer for the biggest bout of their career is a massive reason why they can't make the bout at this time.
floyd dont watch vids of his opponents and dont need any gameplan in any of his fights as he said so, he can train with his dad and we can have a fight.
Didn't you say Haye had a contract requiring him to not talk to media. Didn't you say Floyd had the same contract with Pac and that's why he was quiet. You said this before, or am I mistaken?
If you believe that, you will believe anything. If you've ever put on a pair of gloves and stepped in the ring...you will realise how important a trainer is...whether your Mayweather or any other boxer. Would Pacquiao step in the ring against Mayweather without Roach in his corner...I doubt it. But even if he did, would he have a gameplan to beat Mayweather...No. Same goes for Mayweather.
Also, Floyd with his dad in his corner would not work...Roger and Floyd have a great relationship when it comes to training/boxing...the same as Pacquiao and Roach.
It was ok for Floyd to flaunt his superiority by not caring whomever he was facing before, but now omfg it's not fair. Yeah ok dude... Didn't he say he would beat Pac easy peasy?
Thats Floyd saying these things...does that effect my opinion? No. The biggest bout of your career, would you want someone else in your corner whilst your trainer is in jail...No.
As if he didn't know what was gonna happen with Roger. You can whine for Floyd all you want, but he knew Roger was headed to court. You can either see it as Floyd maneuvering his way into the court date or he was just a dumbass and didn't know his uncle beat the **** of a female boxer and its all a conspiracy??? How do you explain that wow, its time for Roger to go to jail, oops I can't fight now sorry guys even though I knew about this for a year or more? So much for easy fights lol.
The important words you wrote are, 'Floyd said'...do a poll and ask how many people believe Pacquiao is the biggest bout of his career, and the hardest test of his career and you will find your answer.
I'm a fan of both Mayweather and Pacquiao, if someone defends Mayweather...he automatically hates Pacquiao?? :huh If Pacquiao was in the same position, and him winning the bout against Mayweather depended on whether Roach went to jail or not...would he take the bout?
