How do you all think he would fare against a fast, rangy, slick boxer like Cunningham?

 

Depends on chin and how good the guy's jab is. Alexeev had no problems at all finding Lebedev with the jab, and I thought he was winning the second round until he was knocked out. The name of the game is to keep Lebedev off of you. He's short and powerful.

I'd be absolutley shocked if Enzo got past Frenkel. Him and Lebedev are the hardest hitters at CW imo. Frenkel is going to take his head off.

Lebedev's crushing win casts Macca in a more favorable -- or less unfavorable -- light. When Lebedev wrecked Macca, that was supposedly evidence of Macca's limited ability. Now, on the contrary, it looks like Lebedev is really a tiger who might wreck anyone.

 

Can anyone tell me, was Lebedev really a paratrooper in the Russian army? Elite corps? He wears the paratrooper apparel in the ring: blue beret and blue striped t-shirt.

lebedev seems to be cleaning out the WBO rankings, stopping alexeev in an elim, former champ macca, and former challenger ismailov.

great to see a fighter who can deliver, who doesn't need the home promoter to help them.

i would love to see thus guy get a title and defend it. i have a feeling he will score lots of exciting stoppages. huck would be a good test, because huck is strong. what happens to lebedev if huck can smash, grab and push him back (as was the case with huck and tokarev)?

i'd like to see him knock out huck, who does carry his chin too high. and then defend vs ramirez. that would be exciting. it seems there is plenty in the WBO rankings to keep him busy, if he does indeed win the title. let's say if frenkel beats macca, then that would be another good fight, lebedev-frenkel.

 

Wow after watching that fight, I can't help but to think Alexeev helped Lebedev win this fight by keeping his right hand so low the whole time.. especially after getting hit with Lebedevs big left multiple times before the KO.

Looking forward to seeing more of Lebedev against better opposition.

Like someone else pointed out earlier, Lebedev doesn't look special but he is effective and is racking up some good wins.

If Frenkal beats Macca (i believe he will destroy Macca) then i would love to see Lebedev v Frenkal. These two have decent enough skills and are probably the two hardest hitters at CW. Should be explosive.
