if you are tipping around on your toes like a ballerina most of the time you dont get any leverage,do you?
not so sure,i think you can get good leverage for the straight right while tipping around on your toes
Its no secret that i cant stand the guy and yes im a big Frazier fan but even so, claiming that Ali did have great punching power is taking it too far in worshiping Ali.
well i think you can get good leverage turning fast your foot and hips, even while your dancing. man ingo did have very big hands, knowing that liston had 15" fist and ingo's look almost as equal
Yes he had, shook his hand once and was amazed but i was ten years old so i guess its smaller then i remember
Hard enough and underrated by some. Personally I think Ali's punching power is very comparable to Holyfield's. I'd say Ali's power in 1966/67 is like Holyfield's of 1990/91 and the more powerful Ali of 1974/75 is similar to the Evander of 1996/97.
Ali hit hard. But I think he suffered from bad hands, and often he'd just throw flurries of fast arm-punches.
Decent, not great ... 39 rounds and could not stun Norton ... hit a blind Frazier at will in 13 and 14 in Manila and could not drop hit ..
I think he is under rated. He has never been the bst buncher around but he had enough to finish almost anyone. What he lacked in bulk he made up for in accuracy and sharpness.
