Respect to Max Kellerman

For his comments last night. It took allot of guts from a HBO employee to publicly criticise Top Rank and Goldenboy.

I seem to be in the minority by not hating Kellerman.

kellerman is not bad he's knowledgeable and also has some good insight and some bad insight.. sometimes he's a little bias but hey you take the good with the bad.. all commentators are kind of bias.. i like him better than steward, lewis, jones or any of the other stupid commentators they have there sometimes

i find he is sadly sometimes the voice of reason


also, he gave up his cushy ESPN gig to work a sport that is far from the center of the public eye...shows he likes what he does

 

I have never heard of a single commentator being liked by boxing fans.


Kellerman is a fan of the sport and usually honest. When he says something unpopular it's because the fans of individual fighters don't like it.

 

Yeah i was thinking the same thing to when i read through the replies to this post.

I don't really have a problem with him or any other commentators. At the end of the day all's Kellerman is is a bloke who loves boxing and who sometimes says insightful things and other times talks **** which is precisely what most commentators and people on this site do.

He is just fortunate enough to get paid for expressing his opinion unlike us.
