Now.... all bets are off. Haye cant handle Tua's power, BUT Tua might be too old and slow at this point to handle Haye's speed.

90's Tua vs Haye? Haye gets carried out on a stretcher within 3 rounds.

Haye has a good chance to outbox him now, but Tua seems pretty serious about his last run at the bigtime, Haye is a good heavyweight, its great to see a CW champ come up and be competitive IMO.

    this thread is a joke

    Haye destroyed Barrett
Tua scrapes a draw with Barrett
yet some of you think Tua beat Haye - lol

Yes i know different styles make for different fights but Tua did not look good and is only going to get worse. Haye would KO him early

Once again people are letting their emotions get in the way. If any of you saw the Barrett fight you would know that David Haye would destroy David Tua. All he did was plod forward and swing for the fences. He made it look like Monte had a world class jab ffs.
Haye/Tua would look like Haye/Ruiz with the same outcome.
Give it up Tuas done and going through the motions.

I disagree. Stylewise this is an unfortunate matchup for Tua as Haye is quick as hell and possesses some impressive skills.

I'm actually kind of surprised how low Haye is rated in H2H comparisons because I really think that his skillset, his speed and his power make him a very dangerous fighter even for A-level heavies of the past. The myth that he is an overblown cruiserweight is ridiculous considering that he always fought close at the 200lbs limit when he was a cruiserweight and now with 220lbs on 6'3" Haye simply looks bigger, stronger, more athletic and just as fast as before making him a vastly improved version over his cruiserweight ego.

So even prime vs. prime I'd favour Haye to win.

LMAO This thread just goes to show how ****ing bias people on ESB are against Haye. Tua would be very lucky to last the distance after getting totally dominated. With Haye dropping bombs on Tua from the outside and using his speed.

I agree.Sometimes fighters have bad day and sometimes they have best day ever.I think that Barett had best day ever. Two days ago i watched his interview and he said that he will be against Tua in much better shape than against Haye.I think that Tua is not too old,he is too heavy. Its all about discipline.Look at Holyfield body at 47.
