To any boxing fan a fight between Haye (29 years old) and old, overmatched old guys like Barrett and Ruiz who were both way way past their prime and over the hill can't possibly be exciting. It's about as "exciting" as seeing a fighter work the heavy-bag.

Would a fight between Haye and a 58 year old Frank Bruno also be exciting, when Haye bounces Bruno off the canvas and beats him to a bloody pulp? Certainly there'd be a good number of exciting knockdowns

if its about excitment then i agree. Haye knows how to hype a fight - he talks a lot. But dont tell me there is the biggest dose of legacy behind him.

without thinking long says it all - lol - you lose. Arreola is too fat to be exciting, he is/was only predictable - what were you excited about? "wow this is exciting, i wonder when either fighter is going to take a chance/risk - gasp!" - have another go

1............Valuev's name has lost alot of clout and he is no longer seen as an interesting, world class fighter to the boxing public............As has been said, he has been beaten twice, by fighters half his size, and is freshly coming off of one of those losses. Vitali hasn't been beaten since Lewis..............those are the facts.........and Vitali has DOMINATED everyone he has faced, if not knocked them out...........Valuev knocks noone out, not even 46 year old Holyfield. The public would agree that Valuev is not reallly deserving of this titleshot against a champion like Vitali who is TEN TIMES the fighter Valuev is........fact. That said, Valuev should not be dickering over money he is lucky to be offered, at all.

2...........................Sure, many other titlefights were made with the challenger comign off a loss, but we don't know the financial amendments that were made to make those fights possible.

3............Vitali can't possibly *elevate* his level of competition anymore, as EVERY fight he takes, the stay busy Sosnowski fight aside, has been either a required mandatory, or an unbeaten challenger.

Your arguements have been thoroughly deflated, once again.

Valuev is lucky to have this kind of immense opportunity to fight someone like Vitali Klitsckho, after just having been beaten and losing his title in his last fight, and winning a controversial fight against Holyfield. The public is aware of how lopsided the quality in the two fighters are, and Valuev, in is current *dethroned, twice, and no longer interesting* position should realize that too, and accept the fight, and be glad he got the opportunity, period.

Barrett proved yesterday that he still had alot of fight left in him when he took on Haye (Hayes first HW fight after stepping up)

Ruiz was the mandatory and he came to fight (unlike most of the Klits opponents)

Okay so "exciting" does not equal "knock downs" - agreed, so what does "exciting boxing" mean to you and how/when do the Klits display it exactly?

Arreola was considered then as dangerous puncher. That fight was hyped well and Arreola was on fire back then too. Lots of heavy shots from Vit and beautiful tactic as well. Arreola brought agression and it seemd like he never wanted to give up. Srsly if you compare Haye/Ruiz or Barrett and say it was exciting i say you must be Brit cuz its the only thing which keeps you at this state of mind.
One more thing, you probably wont believe this but im not hardcore Klits fan (tho i can appreciate their boxing style) and i was cheering for Haye when he was entering HW (i guess like almost all of us), but normal boxing fan may be fed up with Haye already - obvious reasons.

The only reason ppl want to see Vit/Valuev is the matter how Klit deals with him. Can he do it any better than Haye? is this even possible? These are questions ppl want to get aware of

You see what you want to see. There is no way you r not Brit. Barret got first KD with Haye when he was entering the ring...
Im not going to disgrace Hayes opponents any longer cuz it's not the point here.
Btw, the first Hayes foe in HW was Bonin, not Barrett.

i respect you for giving up a losing argument

i know Barret was not the first but he was the first after Haye stepped up (for the second time) - so what is your point? - smug fool
