Ya'll Must Have Forgot, GBP already paid Maidana NOT to fight Khan for three fights. The "calling out" is smoke and mirrors. Just like the 140 tournament talk was, GBP flat out rejected it just a week after Con said he wanted it.

That TR and GBP are trying to create quasi-leagues and only taking in house fights. like GBP with Khan and TR with pac.

That was the brief version, he was very critical and it came across as a knock against them that they should have to be weary of.

Perhaps. But at least the majority of them are actually qualified - that is, they paid dues working as boxing journalists or participants prior to being given commentator jobs. Not Kellerman, who's only experience prior to being put on ESPN was some rinky-dink cable access show.

 

I would have actually prefered Gary Shaw made an 'in house' fight by getting Sergei Dzinziruk-Alfredo Angulo, which should've been made. HBO didn't force it, and apparently Angulo and Shaw didn't want it.

Victor Ortiz is the #1 contender for Timothy Bradley's WBO...Bradley doesn't need to be moving up to welterweight to take on fighters like Abregu or to call out other junior welterweights, he's got a #1 contender that people want to see him in against. Just make the fight.

For Kellerman to make that kind of statement after a very weak HBO card was put on by Gary Shaw is pathetic.

Yeah, I must admit...That was the first time Kellerman has ever said anything worth listening to!!!!

 

i like him, he adds youth to the team
