I see it the other way.

Against Wlad it will be like the Lewis fight, only more one-sided.

He's definitely a live underdog against Vitali..... I'm definitely part of his supporters club in this one :yep

As odd as it sounds I thought this would be the most interesting match up as well (leaving any Haye V Klit fight aside). I'm sure it would be a stinker of a fight but I was curious to see it play out.

Briggs doesn't have stamina for more than 2 rounds. The first 2-3 minutes will be interesting, then Briggs will simply be punched into submission.

It would be interesting: to see these two behemoths in the ring; to see Vitali in with a taller opponent; to see if Vitali could knock him out. Infinitely more intriguing than some hasbeen Lewis knocked out 15 years ago.

How so? Briggs is a 3 round fighter. In those 3 rounds he'd have a good chance of cracking Wlad's egg chin. Versus Vitali he's got a minute chance of doing that and then will get shut out and end up retiring in the 10th or some ****.

    :deal

Was also intrigued to see whether Valuev would be completely intimidated in the ring or just respectful.

That he is, but I don't Vitali has ever been all that he's cracked up to be.... especially now.

Slow, laboured and doesn't punch very hard.

Would be nice to see someone go hell for leather rather than just falling over or quitting in shame.

Wlad would stop him in the first round - he's pretty much unbeatable right now.

Its looks a bad fight. You always hope Briggs will turn up and fight well but he has been a let down most times.

Taking a look at who else could fight Vitali I can certainly say that Briggs is not that awful an opponent. No one looks good enough to beat him and apart from Adamek, Haye and maybe 1 or 2 others I can not see a top class opponent to choose from. We have been scrapping the bottom of the barrel for some time but like others have said at least Briggs has the bottle to fight him.

i'd watch this, so long as I don't have to pay for it on primetime. If haye doesn't want him, then why not Briggs.

I hope Briggs takes this opportunity seriously because if he does and comes to fight he has the size, speed and power to make it interesting while it lasts.
