people on this thread have said everything that needs to be said, so i'm not gonna do a big write up...

but i will say this.. ali said some truly offensive **** to joe back in the day that was uncalled for.ali seemed to take great pleasure in the remarks he sent in joe's direction.

ali was saying things you should NEVER say to another black man... EVER!!.

joe saw them both as being friends.. even helping ali out with money while he was suspended from boxing.. but he threw it back in joe's face...

so frazier has every right to feel the way he does about ali!!

Ali crossed the line in what he said about Frazier.

It is one thing to promote fights....but Ali was going a bit too far in Frazier's case..

frazier is a bitter old man with an awful resume.

how can people rank him in their top10 atg heavyweights? he has one great win v ali then lost to him twice. then his resumes consists of basically nothing, just victories against average fighters like quarry, mathis, jimmy ellis. his only other big test was against foreman and foreman beat him twice like mel gibson beats his women.

ken norton has a win over ali as well, should he be in the top 10 atg heavyweights?

    Dear Friends
    kind regards
Here is a clip from the late 70's where Muhammad Ali appeared on This Is Your Life.

Smokin Joe Frazier seemed to be quite gracious and friendly to Muhammad Ali when he was welcomed as a guest on this particular show.
Obviously Joe Frazier's opinion of Ali seems to change like the wind or perhaps he just pretends to like Ali sometimes.
    yours thankfully

Joe helped Ali, stood up for him, gave him money. Ali went beyond promotion, he outright acted maliciously toward Joe. Considering how the 3rd fight ended and how bad Joe wanted that 2nd W against Ali and Ali's slanderous attack against Frazier's entire life, who cares if Frazier holds a grudge? It's his to hold and I can't fault him for it. Ali was a philanderer, a segregationist, and a narcissist. I loved him in the ring and I love a lot of his quotes but he doesn't wear a halo.
