I'm expecting a great comptetive fight. Marquez is ready for this and want to prove a point, whereas in Diaz this fight is do or die for him. Another loss for Diaz and that's pretty much it.

Did he just break another speed bag in those pictures??

If so how and why the hell does he keep doing it? I would think its pretty hard to break them by punching them. Then again an uppercut seems like the ideal punch for it and we all know JMM has some amazing uppercuts.

JMM is my favorite fighter and I'm hoping he looks great against Diaz and is able to give us at least a couple more great performances.

He definitely looks likes he's still hungry and seems to be making the sacrifices in the gym but as the old saying goes; time waits for no one.

Does anybody know if Nacho is still his trainer? I know his brother split with him.

As far as I know Nacho is still training him. I dodn't see any reason why they would split. His brothe ( Rafa ) split because he felt Don Nacho was giving too much of his time to JMM.

No, that honor goes to Salvador Sanchez whom some argue is the best Mexican fighter of all time. I also think Ricardo Lopez who was also trained by Nacho Beristein was abit better technically and offensively than JMM. But I do think Juan Manuel Marquez has had more time to adjust to these higher divisions and he looks more ripped and he looks stronger than his outing with Floyd. He looks great.

Make a pledge.........say you will criticize Pac if a Marquez fight is negotiated and he refuses for a third Marquez fight to take place at 140 lbs?????

......everytime I've heard Roach talk about it, he's said that Pac's a welterweight.

As much as I like JMM it's just sad to see how people overlook Diaz like he's some sort of bum now, only a while ago he was an exciting young fighter who has a lot to offer. Guess what?, he still is and I don't think it would be wise to overlook him completely because he sure as hell is no bum and his record speaks for itself.

Why the hell wouldn't you buy it? The undercard is stacked and not to mention in the main event we have a 2009 FOTY rematch!

Diaz is not a bum......in fact he's a damn good fighter.
.....but also dont kid yourself into believing he's anymore than just a good fighter at this point.

Diaz just has not gotten the job done against the better opposition, which in recent fights has been losses to Campbell, JMM, and Malignaggi.

If a fighter fights Diaz head on as Campbell and JMM did. I'd expect him to be competitive but just not good enough to win.
.......if you move on him offering speed, quickness and angles, he's going to look like 2nd tier.

From my end as a Marquez fan. I hope to see Marquez box him early with angles, to then lower the boom on him in the 2nd half of the fight.

Should be an easy night for Marquez if he boxes Diaz.
More exciting but a KO victory nonetheless if Marquez from the start decides to trade straight on.

I'd like to see Marquez box this time just to prove to all of us he's still in that upper tier of skill fighters today.

Jmm is proven himself. He does not need to fight Diaz for the 2nd time.
Diaz lost to a good number of fancied boxers. A win will not give him much credit. A win over the likes of Bradley, Khan or alexander would have been more significant.

Maybe he is still fighting coz he know his legacy is still behind Mab and Morales?!
Anyway, good luck to you Juan Manuel Marquez!
