Later this month. Arum conveniently made the deadline happen just a few days before Roger's trial.

Of course he would get his props either way. And again, I'm not saying that's the reason he didn't sign off on this fight already. However, it's hard to argue that it won't be seen as an even bigger accomplishment if people spend months bashing the guy and saying he's afraid of Pacquiao. Look at his fight with Mosley. A lot of critics held their tongues in regards to Mosley's age and inactivity because they spend so much time saying Mayweather needed to fight a real WW and that Mosley would knock him out.

He has every right to not fight, but it's his legacy that will suffer.

If he doesn't do it, he's going to get bashed right out of any ATG talks he was ever in.

    Boxing fans are brutal.

That will be the next excuse if Pac looks good in his next fight.

Oh it's Arums fault Floyd wants to take a 1-2 year vacation rather then fight Pac? jesus :-(

The deadline doesnt mean anything anyway. Floyd could come out and say any time that he wants to make the fight, and it would happen. Arum said this himself.

Floyd didn't indicate any problems with the proposal, he simply said he didn't want to rush into a Pacquiao fight.

Even Arum has said thats likely the reason the fight has been delayed.

Why can't he push up waiting for a fight, and push the fight date up till December/January ?

If the deadline doesn't mean **** then what was the point of having it? Look at what happened after the deadline came pass, everyone starts going ape**** on Void.

Give me a break. Arum was just saying that **** to keep chances of this fight alive.

He wanted to trash Mayweather and you know it.

    Whether or not whatever.

I think the chance of not having Roger is the reason why Mayweather hasn't agreed and I thought it before Arum even said anything.

Who cares what the point of it was. Floyd has a contract that he apparently has no issues with and he wants to take a 1-2 year vacation rather then fight Pac. You can't spell it out any better.

Jeff Mayweather just said the other day the drug testing issue hasn't even been agreed to.
