In no way, shape, or form, did I lie. Mosley is the first person to be adequately drug tested against Floyd. That's in the history books.

That isn't the point Luke. The point is it never made or broke negotiations. He tried, failed, and negotiated on it. This was NOT the case for Mosley. The precedent has been set and going forward there is no negotiating the point.

    No, he won't save you.

Thanks for posting that. I felt it should have been obvious enough for him, but at least you've now spelled it out.

Mayweather isn't a lawmaker, what he dictates in one fight isn't a legal requirement for the next.

Ever heard of a compromise? I guess Mayweather hasn't, if Jeff is not just chatting **** like usual.

    ...Sigh.

It's called "negotiating". Two fighters come to the table with a set of demands and they sit around that table deciding what they can agree to and what has to go. At the end of the negotiations, either there is a fight or there isn't.

If Pac agrees to testing and Maywether ops for another fight? Sure. I think thats grounds for a duck accusaton.

    Different argument.

We all know why he asked for USADA testing versus Pac. We also know that it was flexible. He backed off of it and explored other options. The fight didn't happen. After that he MANDATED it versus Mosley, it happened, the fight was a success.

After that no matter how you really choose to define this he is correct.

-- Mosley was the first to do it? Correct.
-- Mosley was the first that was mandated to do it? Correct.

To your point, Pac was the first asked, but he backed off of it in the first round of negotiations.

That hinges on the definition of the word "started".

Yep. With Pacquiao the first time around Floyd was even willing to work with cutoff dates. However, with Mosley that was NOT the case, and Floyd has made it clear beyond all question that this will be the case for all fights into the future with him. Mosley was the very first time that adequate blood testing became a non-negotiable point for Floyd.

Well it appears Manny has already agreed to the Mayweather drug demands. So we'll have to wait and see how this pans out.
