    That's my belief.

"Rushing into a fight" ... and it being 60 days (probably closer to 80) since his last fight.

But what a lame azz excuse anyway. He's too proud to admit his hands and/or uncle is the issue.

So he's "relaxing" instead of having the biggest pay day of his life, one which he knows he has weeks before he has to begin preparation for.

Either that or the hunger just isn't there to train intensely for a mega fight (one which he would have to begin media obligations in TWO weeks)

I'm sorry but Mayweather straight out "ducking" is just something I'm not naive enough (or too naive/stubborn/on Floyd's nuts?) to believe.
Anyway...the fight mayyyy eventually happen...but by then who will really care? And remember if they do fight it will probably after a 1 year Floyd lay-off... So a bad idea for Floyd.. or he may have a tune up (another bad idea).. So now it looks wayyyyyyyyyy too far away.. And nobody but Pac will suffice.

So yeah.... random thoughts.. anyway ..

    Goodbye Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Yeah, once every few years you will see him in a ring.

Floyd has ducked all the toughest competition since he moved up from lightweight. I'm not so naive that I won't believe what's right in front of my eyes. He's straight-up ducking Pac just like he did Tszyu and Margarito, among many others.

I do believe that Floyd's hands are an issue and the primary reason for his "retirement". I'm also pretty sure that David Haye's chronic hand problems are hindering him in much the same way (hence his level of inactivity). Both he and Floyd seem determined not to admit to this, but for the sake of saving face I really think that they ought to.

Why can't he be entitled to take the entire Summer off? Doesn't he deserve it after getting a huge win over Shane? Why do they HAVE to fight on Nov. 13th? That's just Arum's way of putting pressure on Floyd. He knew Pac's last fight was in March which means Manny would have more time to recover from a fight that wasn't even a fight (Clottey).

Up until this point Pac has had 4 months off (training wise) whereas Floyd has had a little over 2.5 months off. At least give him another 1.5 months to make a public statement about the situation. If he fails to give us a good reason for his balk then by all means feel free to cast stones.

Now if he does present a valid reason then I don't see why a fight in the Spring of 2011 is so horrible. Arum is making you believe Nov. 13th is so special when it's really just another chapter. Manny isn't retiring.

If Pac wants the fight all he has to do is submit to USADA drug testing. For some reason he won't...

Only Floydettes hold this view. Even Conte thinks USADA is useless.

Floyd just committed career suicide. Nobody will take him seriously now.
