He has ducked fierce competition for years. Can't tell people that yrs ago but now it is coming into the light. Personally I am not mad and really don't care if he ducks or is scared or not, but Floyd fans still wanna make excuses for him like they on his payroll or call girl list or something. He has cherry picked fighters for yrs now and now he is getting exposed. I really don't care if this fight goes through or not. This would be the only fight I would pay for other than a Haye-Either Kilt brother fight or a Klit brother brother fight. If these 3 fights if anyone of these ever happens boxing is a done deal, move on to UFC.

 

For now, yes. We'll see what he does May 2011.

Dude, why would you think it's anyones duty or job to defend anything. The man said what he wanted to say. If you want to call him a ducker, do what you will, but all I'm saying is that when the fight takes place (and it will), and it ends the way the majority of people believe it will, you are setting yourself up for a level of **** talking like nothing before seen. If you think it's bad now, wait until the Sunday after the fight when Pacville will be a ****ing ghost town. Surely you aren't under the impression this fight will never happen are you? Is this your position, that the fight won't happen?

I agree with this generally, but if Top Rank can't/doesn't wait until Roger's legal situatiion is put to rest, I'm not sure they aren't the duckers. Why would you impose a "deadline" that you know the other side isn't going to meet. Then you are going to "try to get this other fight done in the next 10 days" which falls at what the 28th, that way when Roger's situation is done and the Mayweather camp knows for certain what if any adjustments have to be made, the Pac camp is now tied up in another fight with Cotto or Margs? Why would they not wait until after Aug 2nd to see how this thing plays out before entering into a contract with another fighter. Nov. 13 is a long ways away, waiting until the first of August would not change anything in terms of preperation or logistics.

Again I would agree under normal circumstances, but in this case IF Pac gets into another contract prior to this time, I'm not sure this entire deal wasn't Arum's brainchild. Which would explain the courteous and apologetic attitude toward Floyd, the deadline being made through the media (I thought they agreed this wouldn't be done), and some of the other percieved bizarre behavior from both sides.

 

... I'm loving this. All the big ****ing talk from Floyd's dozen or so cheerleaders on here is strangely absent.
