Whose reputation suffer more from this pac/floyd fiasco?

Pac = cover of time magazine... floyd gets petitions created to request ATT not use him as a spokesman.

 

'who does the world love more?' ought to be the question. but floyd wouldn't care less about that.
I guess Pac's rep will suffer more coz floyd really doesn't have a positive rep at all.

 

I voted Pac. He has all the power in the world to decline a fight with Cotto and Margarito, but he won't.

He really is a Yes Man in the grand scheme of things.

 

They both come off as squabbling douchebags in this because we're hungry and they have food and it's altering our perception of reality and sense of entitlement. I'm not sure that made sense now that I've typed it but I don't care, I am buzzed and apathetic. That's a lie, I'm not really buzzed, that was just an excuse. Which I guess I wouldn't have made if I were genuinely apathetic. I don't care if I'm not apathetic. I'm done with this thread. Valuev rules.

 

Floyd is always the bad guy no matter what he does. If he goes on to fight anyone other than pac and he still does over 1m ppv, his reputation amongst the fans hasn't been tarnished at all.

The fact that floyd is still in boxing gives fans the hope that this fight can one day happen. I think it gonna take place next year.

Pac ducked floyd first time round, however this time round, i don't think floyd had any attention of fighting again this year. So he wasted most of our time although at no point did he say he was negotiating to fight in November.

 

easy answer is floyd, but if you think about it, he gets **** on by the media all time (a large part of it is his own doing, playing the heel and all)

IMO if their next fight is not against each other, they both need a real fight, no b/s, no angles, no leveraging

Even though he might not give a **** about rep, all boxers want to be respected. Floyd loses a lot of respect if this fight never comes off.

I voted Floyd but i am not sure that is a fair result. the thing is, pac is a better guy. the better guy gets the benefit of the doubt. Pac should have agreed to the 14 cut off date last time but instead he wound up fighting clottey in an event where he and the venue were the story and not his hopeless opponent.

Floyd fought shane mosley, the better of the two opponents, but people still did not give shane much of a chance of winning for good reason. But Floyd should be getting credit for beating the number 1 welter in the world and making it look easy.

So when it comes down to it, since the first fight fell through, floyd has done more. With that being said it appears that floyd doesn't have much interest in fighting manny now for a host of possible reasons so he needs to wear the jacket for the fight not happening this time.

In the end they both get hurt because there will be people on both sides blaming the other side and some will believe one side and some will believe the other. ultimitely, there is a good chance that despite two impressive careers, they both may be largely remembered for not fighting each other.

 

I feel the same about both fighters at this moment. The promoters, etc., are looking like a group of morons, however.
