Arum was at fault the first time. He loved being the big shot promoter but I don't think you can really blame Pacquiao who has always been happy to fight Mayweather.

what you mean blame Arum? Come on Pac did not want the deal he is accepting now then......i aint sayin he was scared...i think they felt they needed more time actually.

You rip Floyd rightfuly so for this second attempt but ready to give Pac a pass on the blatant duck the first time?

Like you, I felt they needed more time but Pacquiao always said he wanted the fight. I blame Arum because he threw his toys out of his pram and signed the Clottey fight, when a Mayweather bout was still possible.

I don't think it was anything to do with Pacquiao though. Maybe you can fault him because he's always been too relaxed and said he'll fight anyone, but that's all. It's not like he was offered a good deal and said "no".

Floyd has always said he wants to fight Pac too....he hasnt said he wouldnt fight Pac.

You still want to blame anyone other than the fighter who ultimately is in charge...specially of Pac's status...your basicaly saying Pac is a puppet....i dont think he is that inferior of a man. Pac wants to be the best...no way he just passes up the opportunity to solidify that by fightig arguably the best man in Floyd....no way.

People are so ready to hang everything on Floyd and you dont even have to be a fan of either to see the obvious....Pac opted out of the fight the first go round...Floyd is doing it this go round.

And please dont use the "bluff" argument like some of these clowns....you dont wait 6 months to call a bluff Pac should have did what he is doing now, but he chose to just walk away...again im not knocing him for doing so but he did it....just like Floyd id doing it now....put theweight of this fight on BOTH parties...not one.

anybody who's been in the ring knows mayweather would waste pacquiao and mayweathers confidence would not allow him to be afraid of anybody.. he's simply being a business man and putting his ego aside, which is smart.

people forget that pacquiao is the same size as marquez, with more power, and speed, and he's a southpaw. but he is still outclassed. it's pacquiao that needed time to get ready for mayweather, not the other way around. people used to say mayweather was ducking mosley, but i knew he wasn't because he put mosley on his hit list. and he offered mosley a fight years ago..

most people just repeat what they hear from other people and if it sounds ok they take it in, but i come up with my own ideas with my experience in the ring and years of watching boxing before most pac fans knew who pac was. i was a pac fan before most pac fans knew who he was and i know mayweather would waste him.

i fully blame floyd for not taking the fight. whether it is so he can have a year off, or wait for roger or whatever it is, the point is pac accepted and floyd said no.

but to answer the question i dont see it as a duck. the fight will prob come off at some point, floyd has fought too many big names to be called a ducker IMHO. if the fight comes off next year, which is reliant on pac carrying on destroying fighters, then people wont be arsed at that point, but i would be concerned that floyd has detriorated or slipped by that point so it might not be as big or as mega.
