I don't see the Roger situation as a good reason not to make the fight. Roger's trial is at the beginning of August. Training camp wouldn't start until September anyway.

Here's what should happen:

1) Go ahead and make the fight
2) If Roger gets a jail sentence, simply cancel or postpone the fight. Fights get cancelled all the time for all kinds of reasons: injury, business, natural disasters, etc. For the Fight of the Century, this is a risk all parties should be willing to take.
3) If Roger doesn't get sentenced to any jailtime, proceed with the fight everyone wants to see.
