Khan - "I'll fight Tim Bradley next"

Great match up. Lets see it. Tim's being saying Khans on his hitlist for a while. If Tim is gonna continue to avoid Devon then Khan is a good match up.

 

Avoid Devon Sooooooo overrated is Alexander.

Winnable fight for Khan.

 

I honestly think it is as well.

 

Winnable? That's definitely a possiblity.

Would Khan be the favourite? Most definitely not. Then again, that's the kinda' fight we all wanna' see him in, so full respect if it comes off.

 

The height and reach advantages that Khan has over Bradley could be the deciding factor in this fight...sticking Bradley on the end of the jab all night. Alternatively, Bradley could just detonate one on the inside and its goodnight Vienna.

 

Even with his lack of one-punch power, that's exactly what I think.

Two things; the jab is the key. As soon as Holt ditched it Bradley got to him.

Secondly, regardless of the jab, Bradley seems pretty adaptable; he was able to reach Peterson even when he was trying to outslick him.

There's also the fact that Khan doesn't have much after the jab; the combos are quality, but enough to stop Bradley marauding in and battering him? I'm not sure he does.

 

Khan wins a wide, wide UD. Although a determined little *******, Timmy is a lot smaller, slower and also isn't as powerful as people think he is. Khan is superior in every department other than his whiskers, but Timmy has been known to succumb to power shots in the past as well (granted not at the same levels). We also haven't seen Khan remotely troubled defensivey in his three fights at 140; let's face it, to test the chin, people need to find it and as long as he keeps it hidden, he'll continue to be effective. Timmy throws wide punches, lunges and doesn't always turn his gloves over when he lands either. I think Roach can come up with a good enough plan and Khan is disciplined and skillfull enough to win this fight on the outside.

I am convinced Khan wins this fight. I hope Kellerman pissed Golden Boy and Khan off enough in the telecast to force the fight. MAKE THE ****ING FIGHT!!!:bbb

 

I agree but think Khan has enough power to stop Bradley late. Over the 12 rounds Bradley will take alot of punishment so his chance of reaching te final bell would be very low.

Yeah I think Bradley would beat him. Khan has got some good physical attributes like speed and size but I wouldn't say he's "skillfull". You know what I mean? skillfull as in the Bernard Hopkins type of thing, outsmarting mothe****as. Bradley would outsmart him I think. The Paulie performance was good but not great. Khan has become more mechanical, and although he's a better fighter, he's lost something I think. He's far from a complete fighter.

 

Yeah, I agree E-S; despite the pace being high, Khan is one-paced, one-route. Has one thing, jab out, quick flurry, move back, usually in a straight line.

These are things that can be worked on, but will he still have enough to outmanouver Bradley? Not IMO, Khan relies on his natural attributes rather than being a 'ring general' IMO.

 

IMO Bradley's determination to get to the inside would be his downfall. Khan is obviously very quick but as he proved against Malinaggi he's also very accurate. Roach would also be able to impliment a gameplan for when Bradley does get in the inside, i believe khan will probably need to clinch before Bradley lets those hooks off and lean on him to tire him out, it will also be key to work on the uppercut with khan as i believe Bradley would be open for that punch as he comes in.

 

Holt is a much bigger banger than Khan. He landed the perfect shot. He couldn't dissuade Bradley, even when catching him cold.

I doubt Khan can earn Bradleys respect. If Bradley CAN get on the inside (and as you say, he will have to overcome any strategical shifts Roach implements) I think its game over for Amir.

 

This is something I was getting at as well and people shouldn't ignore it as it's a key probelm for Bradley. Bradley lunges big time and he's open and there to hit. That ramrod jab of Khan's is going to be a big factor as well.

Still don't think Khan beats Alexander, but I think he's got the beating of Bradley.

 

I take it you missed Khan saying he wanted Bradley, Maidana or Alexander next after the Paulie fight?
