You telling us this wont do ****....what I'm saying is this is a negotiation, if the date is not acceptable then say it...don't go on saying that you are not interested in fighting pac right now...

this is what i dont understand

floyd didn't say ANYTHING about drug testing, his uncle getting locked up or the date, he just said he doesn't want to fight right now

Wow, it doesnt really matter what ****in date ***** Arum gives.. Mayweather could have re-established another date, better than keeping silent.. He did a good job telling everyone what a chicken **** he is.

He does not want the fight period! I'd rather have him say no than keep all the fans waiting for this **** to happen.. Boxing is becoming more of a joke..

Tty, this is at least an actual potential reason, although I am sure HBO would more than facilitate a date change for an event of this magnitude.

they can but hbo are a business, they have other boxers and shows lined up, its not easy to ditch their other fighters for these 2 no matter how much they'll make

plus floyd didn't exactly give them a counter date in which hes willing to fight at.

like i said before, he can't give a date until AFTER the hearing, which is only 2 weeks away by the way

I am sure a fight of this magnitude can wait 2 weeks...if no date after that, then move on

but by making this deadline (this was Arum's deadline by the way, not HBO's) you know that he can't negotiate another date, since, at that time, roger's future is unknown

well arum did say they are still open for negotiations and is giving floyd 10 days (i think?)

but didn't floyd just come out and say he doesn't want to fight for a while?

Wasnt it Floyd who said it takes 6 months to build a ppv fight?

And Arum explained the deadline, because Pac needs to do the press tour eary because of his legislative duties in the philippines. Unlike void, he actually has a very busy schedule but still finds time to fight. Floyd on the other hand looks after some kids, makes some lil club rain and he needs a vacation.

10 days is still conveniently before the court date
