Watching the Magic Man help call the Comcast card lead by Ran Nakash this week, I was impressed how professional he was. I know the man knows his boxing history and it seems a good fit. He's almost as good as that other Magic Man Tarver...hell, maybe they could do a show together?
Magic Man should not only be a boxing commentator but have his own reality show. True story... _Insert quote with response or pic to Jersey Shore. What was this about anyway. Which card did he commentate I would like to see...
Paulie did well to make it as far as he did as a fighter, but I think he's got even better potential with commentary. He's a natural for it, knows his stuff, and keeps it interesting. If nothing else, give the dude a weekly segment on FNF to air his opinions. Tyson's another guy I love to hear talk about the sport. Throw him on a broadcast where he gets to break a fight down or talk a little history, and I challenge any fan not to walk away at least a little bit smarter about boxing.
hmmm, good idea. the trash talkers who aren't punchy usually make good commentators. his legs look gone now so maybe his boxing days at a top level are over, well dependant on styles anyways. this could be his next move, but i'd have to hear that card for myself. you have a link mate?
He said he wants to go into commentary eventually which would be great IMO. He probably wouldn't let anyone else get a word in though :deal
I'd like him to interview the fighters in the ring after the fight :deal Still reckon he'll fight in Italy a couple times though. But I suppose if he makes good money commentating...
I'd love Paulie as a commentator because he's got a great personality, he really knows boxing, and he's not afraid to speak the truth even when he knows many people don't want to hear it. I wish they'de make him Lennox Lewis replacement on HBO. I'd love to hear him and Larry Merchant together I guarantee you they would go back and fourth.
:good That'd be a trip...the guy who speaks a thousand words per second against Larry, who is about 1 WPM
