Under 20-Alfredo Angulo. Not particularly refined, slow as ****, I've seen him dissuaded at times so I'm not certain he has the iron chin required to implement his aggresive style, but I like him. I favour him beat Cintron in the rematch if it comes off.
Under 30-Nkosanthi (spelling?!?) Joyi: H2H wont lose from Straw to Light-Fly IMO. Pretty certain he's had 20 fights :yep

Assuming I can't pick anyone who already has a belt:

Less than 10: Jose Benavidez Jr. (7-0)
Less than 20: Paipharob Kokietgym (6-0) (my dark horse) (AKA Paipharob Por Nobnum)
Less than 30: David Lemieux (23-0)

Three guys with under 10 fights so far, so taking a risk. Saul Alvarez would be there if he qualified (At only 20 years old, I feel like he should). Vasyl Lomachenko was up there at first, but then I re-read the rules and took him off. Frankie Gavin is my favorite prospect ATM, but I doubt he'll be active enough over the next 18 months. Other guys close to making it: Golovkin, Jacobs, Cleverly, Sonsona (if he can ever get his head on straight), Omar Henry, Luis Garcia, Andre Dirrell, Thomas Oosthuizen.

Reasons for my picks:

Ioka is one of, if not, the best Japanese prospects right now. A top amateur, he has fought some good opposition for just 4 fights and there was talk of him fighting for a 'world' title this year. I think they may have slowed that talk down after he was floored in his last fight and got hit too often late on, but a 'world' title fight next year looks possible. Already fighting in 10 rounders, I think he can score plenty of points over the next 18 months.

Velasquez again was a top amateur, and with him being in a division that is not stacked with top fighters, I feel he can make a impact in the next 18 months. Need to see how he handles the step up though before throwing him in with the likes of Uchiyama, Klassen, Martinez, Aoh etc. A fight with Mendez, who won on the Williams vs Cintron card, would be a step in the right direction.

I think most people know who Lemieux is now, especially after his stunning first round stoppage of Ayala last time out. I picked him because I feel he will have quite a lot of fights in the space of 18 months, and will finish them early :yep
