Surely even Floyd fans now see what's going on here? Surely?

I'm acknowledging that Floyd is ducking Pac you tool.

I just find it amusing how loverboys like you praise Pac's every move even though he is taking easy fights.

"He had to fight Clottey"; are you saying that Clottey was the best and most deserving fight out there?

    Same with Margo and Cotto.

There are 10-15 better opponents out there right now for Pac. He is taking easy fights and needs to be called out on it.

Actually, going back memory lane, Yes. Clottey was the best most deserving out there AT THE TIME. I dare you to deny this.

There is still a possibility that all of these are just a ploy for **** knows why and that the fight will be ultimately made next year. Or so I hope. Since there's no option for that I'll go with option 2.

i think the fight would have happened in march if Pac had accepted the testing demands.
their recent fights have changed the things.
Mosley was a shadow of his former self and despite that hurt Floyd who looked also aged while Pac punched Clottey for 12 rounds and hasnt shown much new weakenings.
So Pac/TR were pushing for that fight more than before and Floyd probably was smart enough to realize his limitations and that he doesnt have much of a chance. So he decided to do the duckjob rather than takeing the money.

    Watch Hatton vs Collazo.

    Watch Pacquiao vs Cotto.

You tell me who holds the weight better above 140.

Hatton was not the same fighter at welter that he was at light-welter. Pac seems to be as good if not better at welter than he ever has been before.

It is the same thing really though.

Marquez - very effective at 130, effective at 135, loses his effectiveness when bulks up to 140+

Hatton - effective at 140 (as shown vs Tszyu, Malignaggi, etc), loses his effectiveness when bulks up to 147 (as shown by Collazo)

Pacquiao - shows no signs of compromised effectiveness between 135, 140 and 147. His frame and body type clearly hold the additional weight better.

    Not very complicated.

Why are you replying as if I insinuated Hatton was better at welterweight than he was at light welterweight or than Pac is at welterweight?

You questioned. I clarified and explained. What's the problem?

That it was a rhetorical question with a misunderstood intent, it seems.

i'm not of the belief that floyd is ducking pacman, i think it is all just part of a longer plan to squeeze every last dollar they both can. on all threads you hear people saying they fed up and don't care about this fight anymore!! but the same people reply everytime there is a new thread. this fight will probably happen next year and i bet all of you will watch it!!

There is no reason to wait and build the fight. It has been built to fever pitch already over the past year, another year is not going to have any positive effect whatsoever. It's a duck, plain and simple.

Personally, I think the opposite will happen. If the fight doesn't happen now, sooner or later something, perhaps an unexpected loss or whatever, is going to derail this fight permanently. Add that to the fact that both fighters aren't getting any younger and time is of the essence.

All these delays do is make other sports like the UFC more attractive to the casual fan. At least the UFC shows the fights that the public want to see.
